Health and Safety in the Workplace Awarenes - An Abbeymead course of three hours. It covers the essential items of Health and Safety, does not have an exam but all learners get an attendance certificate.
Health and Safety in Health and Social Care - a one day CIEH course for workers in hospitals and care homes. It provides candidates with a good understanding and knowledge of health and safety in the Health and Social Care sector. OFQUAL accredited.
Hospital Orientation - a three hour awareness workshop enabling new personnel in the care industry to understand the need for and ability to perfom base line observations and record them.
Infection Control - a three hour awareness course highlighting the guidance for infection control in healthcare settings during an influenza pandemic, demonstrating effective hand hygiene to remind staffand patients on how to do this correctly. We hope that they will also prove useful when teaching healthcare staff how to minimise the transmission of healthcare-associated infections generally.
